Video Marketing F.A.Q.

Q: Where can people watch my video content?

Video has its own dedicated section on the engineering.com website and within the engineering.com app.  Furthermore, sponsored videos are also embedded into their own article and featured on the engineering.com homepage.  Our videos can also be found on YouTube and through search engines like Google.  In fact, we're the #1 result for "engineering video" in Google.

Q: Will I get a copy of the video?

Yes.  We're happy to provide you with a copy of your sponsored video to use it as part of your ongoing marketing efforts.

Q: I've seen engineering.com shooting video at trade shows.  Are these the same thing?

No. As the largest engineering news website, we regularly attend trade shows and conduct on-the-fly interviews with attendees and exhibitors for our coverage.  Our video marketing product is more formal, planned, and scripted, with higher production values.

Q: How does video work with other types of content marketing?

Video marketing has strong synergies with other content marketing types like white papers, articles, and product landing pages. It boosts the chances your other forms of content will appear in search results, and it does an excellent job of convincing a prospect they should learn more.

Q: I'm interested in a custom video series, how many episodes are they?

Video series come with a minimum of 6 episodes, but can go on for as long as you like.

Q: How much does video cost?

We have several video products, and pricing is based on which one you choose.  They range from $5,000 to $20,000 depending upon the type of video and the number purchased.  See our brochure to learn more.
